Knol.com can be the wiki rival

The search engine giant, has unveiled its online publishing service — Knol. This service is a competitor to the much famous Wikipedia. Knol allows users to write articles on specific topics and to make money from them. The service is likely to compete with online encyclopedia Wikipedia. (more…)

Google has launched a new 3D world platform ‘Lively’

Google has launched a new 3D world platform designed to be safe for teenagers to use. The Lively platform allows users to design and operate small 3D rooms which can be embedded into blogs and websites.
Unlike Second Life, which is adult-only and boasts a bustling adult economy, Google promised that Lively will not allow explicit content. The service is open to users as young as 13 and has strict controls on issues such as bullying and harassment. (more…)

how do I make my search more efficient to find the information I am looking for/

The Google search engine limits only to the first ten words entered in the search bar. So keep your search phrases as short as possible because Google searches words in the order they are typed, so ‘slow train’  would get you a different result than ‘train slow’. Here ae some tips that you can follow.
