How to prevent fades colored subjects ,hard contrasts and dull of Photos by using Photoshop

For this exercise we will use Photoshop’s Hue/ Saturation tool as our weapon of choice. Just go to ‘Image|Adjust|Hue/Satuation’. Here, instead of increasing the overall saturation of the picture, pick out the pats of the image which should be predominant in the image. We have selected the green and blue tones in the above example. Select ‘Greens’ and click on the appropriate part of the picture with the eyedropper. You can now specifically intensify this color with ‘Saturation’. For further control, and selecting more colors you can always use Adjustment Layers. (more…)
