While not a huge physical upgrade over the first iPhone, the 3G hits two of the older mod critical weaknesses-poor call quality and slow Internet speeds. The 3G looks, feels, and acts like the original iPhone. There’s a slightly thinner metal bezel around the screen and the back of the handset is plastic rather than metal. And the 3G eschews the recessed headphone jack for a flush one that accepts ordinary music headphones. Alas, the original iPhone’s disappointing 2-megapixel camera, with no settings options, hasn’t changed. The iPod part, also unchanged, remains excellent. (more…)

RGB MusicLab converts RGB (Red, Green and Blue) value of an image to chromatic scale sounds. *Msc, MIDI file which is created by RGB MusicLab can be converted to the original image. The program reads RGB value of pixels from the top left to the bottom right of an image. One pixel makes a harmony of three note of RGB value, and the length of note is determined by brightness of the pixel. RGB value 120 or 121 is the center C, and RGB value 122 or 123 is added a half steps of the scale that is C#. Pure black that is R=0, G=0, B=0

The Lenovo X300 is the PC answer to the Macbook Air. At 1.55kg,  it weighs only 200g more than the Air but what you lose in flair you gain in functionality, as the X300 has a DVD writer fitted whereas the Mac does not. The recent introduction of the ribbon interface in Microsoft Office polarized opinion among its users. It’s not possible to turn it off, so what are users to do if they can’t learn to love it?
